Mission Statement
    
Our mission is to help accomplish God's purpose in the lives of students, teachers, staff, and parents as disciples of Jesus Christ, resulting in a positive influence on our community, our nation, and the world.

Goals
          
- To balance gifts, tuition, financial aid, salaries, expenses and planning for the future.  (I Cor. 4: 2)

           - To communicate the purpose and objectives of Christian education by sharing the mission, goals, and resources of Trinity Christian school. (Ps. 9: 11)
           - To equip students to evangelize and disciple others and to encourage involvement  in practical ministry opportunities. (Matt. 28: 19-20)

To follow Biblical principals in all practices, policies and guidelines. (II Chron. 1:10)
           - To employ and develop mature Christian faculty and staff members who minister through the power of the Holy Spirit to their family, students, and community by word and action. (Luke 6:40)
           - To provide a Christ-centered educational program which is based on the authoritative Word of God. (II Tim. 2:15)
           - To serve the home and local church as they train young people to have a personal and intimate relationship with Jesus Christ. (Deut. 6:5-7)
           - To offer a Christian education which unifies the body of Christ in accord with Biblical principles. (Eph. 4:1-6)


General Information
    
Trinity Christian School, a private Christian school with a strong college preparatory program, educates students from Pre-Kindergarten through twelfth grade. Current enrollment is approximately 330. Trinity Christian School sits on a 37-acre parcel of land located in Sabraton off Exit 4 of I-68, with easy access to Monongalia, Preston, Marion and Harrison counties in West Virginia, and Greene and Fayette Counties in Pennsylvania. We are an interdenominational institution committed to providing a life changing education resulting in a Christ-centered worldview. Trinity High School was founded in 1997 with grades seven through nine with a grade added each additional year. The first class graduated in 2001. Trinity joined with Alliance Christian (elementary) School in 2005 and became Trinity Christian School. The middle and high school moved to the current facility in August of 2004. In August of 2005, Pre-Kindergarten through twelfth was housed at the new facility.
          
 
Accreditation
     Trinity Christian School is chartered with Exemption K status through the state of West Virginia for Pre-Kindergarten through twelfth grades.  We will be entering candidacy for accreditation with Association of Christian Schools International.

TCS Academic Program

We operate on a 180-day school calendar; two semesters, nine-week grading scale.  Of our graduates, 97% enter four-year post secondary educational institutions.  At Trinity, there is a Christian view of every subject and truth.  Our educational program is Christian in its essence, as evidenced in every classroom, as well as in the lives and thinking of our teachers.  Curriculum is designed to provide a nurturing spiritual and intellectual environment for each student.  Students receive an academically challenging course of study with textbook selections incorporating the best curricula available without jeopardizing our Biblical convictions.
